Maintenance Technician 

Responsibilities:

  • Able to prioritize and execute daily maintenance tasks in an apartment complex environment
  • Appliance repair and troubleshooting is beneficial, not required

Full Time Painter

Responsibilities:

  • Paint the interiors and exteriors of apartment homes
  • Proper caulking and painting preparations
  • Aptitude in using appropriate tools (rollers, brushes, drywall tools, caulking guns, etc.)
  • Touch up windows and doors
  • Drywall repairs from nail holes up to a full sheet
  • Experience in spray equipment a plus

Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a competent Maintenance Supervisor to manage maintenance at our east Madison rental properties. You will be responsible for training staff and ensuring the smooth running of upkeep or repair operations.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Inspect and maintain building systems
    • Prepare daily/weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
    • Supervise and train team
    • Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time
    • Comply with all safety regulations and practices on site
    • Monitor inventory of parts and equipment and ensure proper upkeep
    • Conduct safety inspections as scheduled
    • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems/ necessary maintenance
    • Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance repair work

    Requirements:

    • 2 years of proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role (essential)
    • Excellent planning and leadership skills
    • Strong technical knowledge of building systems
    • An eye for detail
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
    • Great time management skills
    • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

    Leasing Professional

    Goldleaf Development has been professionally managing rental properties since 1977. We are committed to high quality work, attention to detail and great customer service. Our company is looking for a highly driven leasing consultant to work in our face paced office.

      Daily duties:

      • Greet prospects and listen to resident request, concerns and comments
      • Receive lead telephone calls and in-person visits
      • Show our community and apartments
      • Apply product knowledge to clients’ needs by communicating the features and benefits of our community.
      • Have prospect complete application and secure deposit in accordance with company procedures
      • Process applications for approvals (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.) and follow up with applicant regarding status.
      • Accept security deposits and rental payments
      • Write up and complete lease paperwork
      • Assist Goldleaf management team with other various tasks as required

        Marketing Assistant

        We are seeking a marketing assistant who will report to our Director of Marketing. This individual will be responsible for executing the current marketing plan and managing advertisement on our many platforms. The marketing assistant will be highly organized, a multitasker and collaborate with the Director of Marketing to maintain client retention and lead generation.

        Duties:

        • Manage company website design and content ensuring it is up to date and relevant
        • Maintain advertising for our multitude of properties
        • Ensuring a consistent message across all platforms
        • Create, deliver and edit marketing materials to entice potential renters
        • Work with digital agencies to strategically maximize a strong digital presence
        • Maintain inventory on all of Goldleaf Development’s properties in the Madison area
        • Take on new projects assigned by the Director of Marketing

        Skills:

        • Experience working in Marketing or Advertising
        • Excellent time-management skills
        • Strong writing and copy-editing abilities
